Perceived Constraints of Contextual Factors on CLIL Teachers’ Effectiveness: Effect of a Training Course

Even though the implementation of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) its results have been researched extensively, fewer works focused on effect contextual factors (CF) teachers’ beliefs which ones are perceived as constraints. Furthermore, no research has explored how training might change those help to adjust or modify some negative effects that CF exert teaching practices. This qualitative study explores six in-service CLIL secondary about a course had them. Results confirmed constraints successful CLIL, appears positive in shaping attitudes into more favourable ones. This, turn, may teachers cope with unfavourable situations provoke daily basis. Since still seem hinder success, considering them teacher programmes contribute largely effectiveness.
